Heard about this before and after all the research I dismissed it as a concern. Can't remember why tho! Try have a search? :)
 
I think the "heater" in the PCV that prevents the valve freezing, is only fitted to cars destined for "cold climates" anyway, and here in the UK we aren't designated as such, though with the "summer" we have just (not) had, you'd be forgiven for thinking we should :D
