BMW Insured Warranty

I've got the BMW insured warranty on my G29 Z4 but I am wanting to get my Zed serviced at a trusted Indy. Tried googling, without any luck, to see if I have to get the Zed serviced at BMW for the warranty.
Anyone know??

What area you in?

Personally if you have a bmw warranty, I found the price difference isn’t huge depending on the service, plus if anything is wrong then bmw get paid by the warranty direct.

It is OK to use an Indy as long as it has BMW AOS Approval. (Dont ask me what that is) but mine is getting serviced on Thursday by such a garage in Sunderland and have checked with BMW that they do approve any work done by them. They can also update the BMW service records direct.

Mine is about 40% cheaper than the main dealership so it's worth it to keep looking.

I had my z4 e89 serviced at my local garage, as long as they use genuine BMW parts and oil , I’ve never had any problems with a claim on BMW insured warranty , and I had a lot of claims !!!!

After I did the math on what the Indy would charge for the same services over the 3 year term, the BMW service plan was only a few quid dearer. So going that direction will allay insured warranty fears.
