BMW Independent Specialist?

Hi,

Losing my patience at the moment with my local dealer. Rang three times now for a price to do an engine coolant flush, refill and to replace a leaking hose and still they fail to contact me after 5 days? I am looking for an independent garage that specialises in BMW repairs in the Scunthorpe, Humberside region if anyone has any ideas? I previously drove Mercedes and a local specialist was always my point of call and he even repaired cars for the main dealers when they were stuck, however, he will only work on Mercedes so I now need a BMW specialist.

Also looking at changing my transmission oil and associated filter(s).

Found a BMW repair specialist garage in Doncaster about 30 mins drive away and currently awaiting prices, currently very annoyed with BMW wanting £99 to investigate which hose is leaking when you can clearly see which one and then telling me that's the way it is! Basically told them it is not happening, forget it :x

Thank you, I'll give them a call and price everything up. Tried the BMW dealer route and the prices are ridiculous.

Just had a stroke of luck as I have been put in contact with a BMW mechanic who has 18 years experience of working with BMW's in my hometown and now has his own garage. After a good chat I have booked my car in and I now feel re-assured of what needs doing and what does not
