BMW in pole postion for Bahrain GP

It'll all come to nothing once the Mclaren and Ferarri guys hit the loud pedals on Sunday, but a 3 manufacturer GP season woudl make a change from the recent years

Sure wish I could see that in the US. Remember when we had a show called Wide World of Sports on ABC? We used to see some good GP races then, but now all we seem to have is ESPN and they are hung up on other things. :( Seems like we have a lot of air time for other BS but not much for motor sports.

Kubica 3rd. Not bad at all

Good effort but as I predicted the Ferarris drove off.
McLaren is the surprise for me with Lewis languishing way back
Not a good showing at all for Lewis.
He had a terrible start & it was game over.
It was almost like he was in the wrong gear.

& did you see him climb into the back of Alonso?
I half wondered if Alonso lifted on purpose.

I dont think he would do that on purpose...

Oh I think he would given the history between the 2 and knowing in the current Renault he has zero chances of making anything of the early part of the season

Come on would he really be that stupid?

I guess they can check the telemetry logs and we'll know if he lifted or brushed the brakes at all.

I don't know. Would Shumacher have been so stupid in the tunnel at Monaco, and many other racers/incidents over the years ?

People with far greater knowledge than me (and the data) will review it all ove the next week, but Martin B though there could be a case to answer.

Yes he said the telemetry would reveal all.

It wasnt a bad race but F1 isnt my favourite motorsport. I prefer endurance racing (LMS, 24h LM) but unfortunately thats nowhere to be seen on British TV...

On other news here in Canterbury has been snowing since morning and shows no signs of stopping. In fact it's snowing harder!
