BMW i8 Spyder

it has a twin supercharged engine aswell from what i remember. guessing slow means batteries but it is one hell of a car to look at

That sounds terrible on the vid - reminds me of the early morning milk float.
 
Looks lovely, sounds terrible. Although fast forward 50yrs and I expect everyone won't expect different :|
 
Oh where to start.... I would of hoped that BMW, the makers of drivers cars to the middle classes would of thought that developing a range extender/EV car that it's core clients could both desire and afford. Alas not we have here an £80k attractive monstrosity that only the wealthy can buy that will in all probablility be limited in use.

Why couldn't we have a smaller, lighter, range extender, coupe/roadster that costs £35k that lots of people could afford and that looks as good as the i8.

Alas no we get the i3 :headbang:
 
We should encourage more & more people to go the green/electric route..................more petrol for us!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the car was running on electric motor only in the video.

I still prefer the one with hard-top :) .
