BMW hard wax with nano

Well i,m quite impressed . Got a BMW car care kit for xmas & whilst the interior products are excellent i wasn't expecting too much from the Nano exterior hard wax.
How wrong , It's almost like cloudy water to apply so a little goes a long way , It leaves no residue , i applied it over PB BHglaze & it was pi55 easy to remove .
Always satisfied with the Meglars carnuba but this leaves the paintwork ultra glassy to touch .
Will definitely use again :thumbsup:

I know what you mean about messing up your hard work - just washed mine, tucked up in the garage letting the AG hood protector dry now but I know that when I go out tomorrow she'll be dirty within 10 mins :(
 
Never tried it..

But you do know why it came off easy Andy ? Wax wont bond to PB BH as the oils in the glaze will reject any sealant or wax..

PB BH can be used,but will deffo need cleansing after to allow the wax to bond to the paintwork..

Will keep you busy next wekend ;)

Well i noticed the foam applicator i was applying with was getting blacker & blacker so guess the process did remove the glaze . Very shiny finish but has revealed tiny blemishes the poorboys disguised :headbang: 1 step forward 2 back ?
I,l use it up on the golf . that has no blemishes to hide :)

Well you learn something new every day. So if you use PB BH, you then need to use something like Dodo Juice Lime Prime before applying the wax ? If so an hour has been added to my car cleaning time whenever I want to use PB BH :cry:
 
I use Zaino ZPC,but its all much of a muchness i suspect..

The cleanser rids the body of oils and makes the paintwork smooth to the touch a little like claybarring..

The paint has to be super smooth for wax or sealer to bond properly...


It sounds like your undoing all your hardwork,but it doesnt strip off the polish that fills the swirls and added depth to the paint..It works especially well if you want to wax the car as little as possible because the bonding agent in the wax has a better surface to adhere,thus lasting longer.

Edit to say..

For blacks the best combo i have experienced is..

PB BH or AG UDS(especially if you have a few swirls,aint they all!! )
Zaino ZPC
R 5VE lockdown

Wetglaze 2.0 if you want added depth..

Here, if you waxed your toilet bowl you wouldn't need to clean it so often !
 
When the weather comes Andy if you wanna come over one day i will go over it with the machine polisher and some products..

See how she comes up ;)

By coincidence i was reading the post when mrs w asked me when i was going to clean the hob :) penny dropped & it now shines like a mirror :thumbsup:
