BMW G29 alloy wheels with winter tyres 18"

My son sold his car today G29 so his winter wheels and tyres are going up for sale style 798M 18" staggered set for current G29 fronts are 8.5 j x 18 et30 255 40 18 , rears 9j x 18 et32 255 40 18 fitted with rft tyres and rdci valves , they are in very good condition will add the make and mm on the tyres tomorrow looking for £1400 ono cost over 3k . Tyres are Continental Winter contact 2 dated week 40 2019 , 1 week 39 2019 , 1 week 41 2019 , fronts and rear all measure 7 / 7 / 7 mm across 3 points of the tyres with no punctures or any other damage . Also has some genuine BMW Z4 rubber mats again will add tomorrow .

That said, they will fit any G29, though if you are running 18" 225 fronts and 255 rears you may notice more road noise.
 
Thank you sars, I have seen this before but it does not say if say 18" are ok on M40i? My concern is that while the front width of wheel offered is 8.5J(?) the M40i has 9J fronts, and 9J offered to replace the existing 10J's at the rear. All have 255 width tyres. all this may be ok on say the 2.0 G29. Ant help appreciated, and thanks again.
