BMW Finance - Reducing Mileage

Has anyone ever asked BMW Finance to reduce the estimated annual mileage against their agreement? I'd planned for 12k miles a year but clearly this isn't going to be the case now. I'm wondering if I can reduce it to reduce my overall monthly payment on my Z4.

i decreased my leasing term from 4 to 3years with my previous bmw.
They recalculated the monthly payments and i had to pay an amount for the months that had already passed. In your case it would be the opposite i guess.
