Bmw finally found the weird noise

My car at bmw today they have called and said the technician on a test drive heard the rumbling noise from left rear at last. This is the fith garage to have a look at it. Initial thoughts it's torque converter related fingers crossed I don't get too much of a big bill.

Torque converter ? Surely that's a noise from the front then as that's part of an automatic gearbox.

It certainly feels like it's rear left. Could be that the noise/rumbling is transferring from the front down through the car.
