BMW fest gaydon August

Will probs meander over in the morning as it's 5mins from my house :)

anyone fancy a drive or a pint after ?

Dropped in to day z register was interesting with some nice cars pArticularly liked the Toledo blue with red m seats. Dodo juice stand was good and they charmed swmbo into a clay kit!

Just back myself after spending most of the day there with Andy, plus a quick blat down to Banbury for lunch then back

Thought it was really good with a great selection of cars and a few dubious mods

Will get some photos up later.

Just got back from the fest. +1 on good selection of motors albeit a few with some seriously wrong mods. Saw a few Z4 Forum member cars parked up too and not sure who it was, but had a mini cruise along the M40 with a tinted windowed Phoenix Yellow :driving:

Here's a few shots: Today I decided that tghere were way too many cool cars to look at so just took a lot of shots of 'odd' things, some cool some not so cool, but each to their own:

Way too cool:

Couldn't leave that one off given the firestorm it caused when I test fitted some for the factory a couple of years back.

The young lad driving the CSL wasn't sparing the horses on the M42 on the way back north either

I love this :sweetheart:

Can't see how anyone in the market for a car like this would pick anything else.

Looks like it was a good day, sorry I missed it. The Ferrari is awesome, I'm not usually a big fan but that car would be top of my Lottery wish list :)

Ended up going down to Gaydon on my own (as brother decided he would rather go to Chatsworth (?!)) and like Phil, I've got a few snaps to share. Firstly 'spotted' in the car park (which was worth a look round too!)
mmm-five, who pitched up about 4 cars behind me

Davethewheelnut, thought I'd seen that plate before - then spotted your avatar as I posted...

and a mystery, but loved the wheels on the 3.0 Coupe - I like a lot....

More general piccies in a moment...

... and a couple of shots from inside the event.
The great white shark - soon to be featured in a couple of car mags if you believe the chap from Sytners

Nice plate - almost bought one of these a few years ago - and there were about 50 others to choose from

and number 2 on a 3 series

Well worth an hours diversion, but next time I'll swap numbers first so that we can meet up with the drivers and not just snap the cars! Enjoy.

Guiseley, Great photos, especially the one of my Zed
I spoke to quite a few members in the display area so where were you hiding apart from in the car parks
Where is the pics of your Zed?

Spoke to Tony Mmmfive for a bit then lost each other as he got distracted by M5s and me by the Z4s ! You can just see mine in the background behind Inkey's.

Here's a better shot of mine when I finally got my brother to stop going around country houses - taking a quick drink to avoid the nasty little average speed cameras over the A537.

Ah - spotted in the car park then. See you got some nice shots

Didn't realise you and Tony were there. Saw Inkeys cars as we left, but iirc he and someone he was with dived into a the Zed and another BMW and off. Recognised the new rims.

I was originally supposed to be passengering in a mates e46 CSL as I didn't bother asking for a stand pass this year as I wrongly assumed the car would be sold.

Unfortunately, the day before my mate called the storage facility he's got his car at to arrange a pick-up and found they'd closed for the weekend and he couldn't get his CSL out - and that was after spending £200 on detailing products that we were going to spend the afternoon using on both cars.

So, my car ended up being the taxi, and it didn't get washed either, but having to do the Liverpool-London-Liverpool commute in the rain would have made it filthy again very quickly anyway.
