BMW fest gaydon August

That's not a bad idea, we could get a stand which gives 18 of us free entry, I'd be up for seeing the other supercars too.

Supercar Sunday (as the name implies) is a gathering of Supercars on Sunday 27 June 2010. The event has been running for over 10 years and in the last couple of years the event has been expanded to also include Sports cars and Superbikes.

Is it worth trying to combine with a drive before hand, maybe some track time.. even though it's paced?

It's 5mins from me so I wouldn't mind organising.

I'd be up for that  and a bit of :driving:

How about getting a Z4 Forum stand at this:

http://www.supercarsunday.co.uk/pages/clubs/supercar_clubs.html

It says sports cars also ie Jag XKR, MR2 etc so we may qualify!

If there's a list, put me on it :)

Well done Andy. Put me down. Should be here then and not on holiday.

There is also track time!! http://www.supercarsunday.co.uk/pages/clubs/tickets_track_booking.html 8)

Excellent stuff - I would be up for that as well. Put me down please - would be great to meet up with some fellow Zed'ers

:hijacked: I'm Confused.com. Has this become a Supercar day thread or a BMW Fest thread? I'm up for one, but not the other. Think we need Woots to take control of the situation :police:

Hmmm.. actually that's bang smack in the middle of the world cup and I have lots of visitors, as that's possibly and England game day.

Will mull this over as the games start at 3pm, but it's more likely England will have topped the group and played the day before, leading to hopefully a big Saturday night out :)

Might still be able to attend but organising might be risky. Will mull this over..

You'd miss that just to watch some men kick a bit of plastic around a field?? :? :o :poke: :P

I love it when England plays in the world cup in the evenings on TV as I have the roads to myself! Had some great blasts on my motorbike when the last one was on! For this reason alone, I hope England stay in as long as poss!

England havn't got a hope in the world cup,we're simply not good enough!! We talk the poor buggers up EVERY time and they fail to deliver.Too many foreigners in the Premiership meaning too few home grown youngsters get a chance to play at the top level resulting in a too small pool of talent for the national side to call on.........discuss...... :D :D Also, with so many foreigners in the Premiership , they all know how to defend against our strikers as they play against them week in week out.......shame really, as out national game, I wish we were better at it than we think we are. I know I'm opening myself up for a load of abuse, but I think it is true, same with the rugby squad too.

We should do what the cricket team have done and 'nationalise' a few. Messi, Ronaldo Torres and Droghba would do for a start! . :)

I'm planning on coming to Gaydon, sounds like a good day out.

Could enter show and shine, but can might not be looking so clean after 150-200 miles

Will see if I can spot a few members when there.

Is BMW Fest a just turn up and display your car? or do you have to be a group/club/forum all together.

I will prob attend this. Anyone know anymore details??

A load of us met up on route last year and parked up in the car park (Lucy will pebble dash your front bumper for free)then wandered about the show. I'll be going this year just to look at the Blue Flash, the world's most famous BMW :D

To park in the lower car park with the line up of Zs you need to be a car club member and in the z register.
There are currently 16 Zs in the line up and a huge number of M Coupes parking together nearby.
If you are in the club and want to display your car let me know as places are limited.
Also you have to get there early so the cars can be arranged.

John - Keeping an eye on this thread as I'm hoping to go too. Family holiday nearby that week, so may need to earn some brownie points before heading off for the day!

Phil - I'd like to show my car, what time would I have to arrive?

Me too - We missed the Blue Flash's presence at the national meet and it's been so long now since I gazed at it's awesomeness I think I have to go.

You have to be there by 8.30am

As for displaying the z4-forum cars ,phil rose(as above),tells me u will need to get in touch with the BMW car club gb(google their webadrs for contact info),and u can book in an owners forum/club,etc in advance.
So u need to get this organised,Woots, before u miss the boat, mate.

Went to this with a few mates, along with members of the Scottish region of the car club, last year/and very much enjoyed it.
wont make it this year,as other things are getting in the way
