Its around again :D

I had to work last year so missed it but is anyone interested?
How hard would it be to get a stand organised? If possible?

Just testing the water :driving:

We'll have a BMWCCGB zed register area again - if the z4-forum members want to park together within that group then just let me know and we'll arrange parking to suit

The BMW festival event at the Heritage Museum Gaydon is on Sunday 19 August not 14 August.

Anyone planning to attend?

Am considering this, though the cost of silverstone was immense so the fuel alone might put me off. ... and yes its not on a Tuesday Woots, its on the Sunday ;)

What is on? Silverstone had the parade lap which made it worth while - what's happening here worth the drive?

Probably not a lot, other than the chance to look at other attendee's cars and a smallish autojumble area, in my experience. The motor museum is worth a quick look if you've not been there before, if only to marvel at what a poor condition most of the car are in. :(

Having been to Gaydon 2 or 3 times in the past, I've always come away feeling that it was a bit of a waste of time. When I used to go to Porsche Club GB events, there were always lots of activities - driving tests, concours, etc, etc, so that it was an entertaining day out.

I appear to have a free Sunday that weekend as the gf is at Lords that day and Baby Inkey$ isnt due for another 3 weeks after that. If the weather looks good I may be making the trip across there.

You don't want to take any notice of the doom and gloom merchant

If you've not been before I think it's worth the trip. The museum is free once you have bought your ticket and well worth a visit.

It is on the 19th Aug. It was on the 14th last year when Woots posted it in 2011

It's worth the drive down the M40 if the weather is nice....the museum, if you've seen it once, is enough!!!
