BMW Emblem issue

I'm looking to replace my rear emblem as it has a flaw on my Z4M Coupe, according to real oem the part number is 51147057794 which differs from the roadster part number 51148132375!! Anyone know why that is.

Can find the official rear roadster emblem for £2.50 on ebay which is obviously preferable to paying £30+ for the coupe one. Would it fit?
 
The coupe's version also acts as the boot release, and I believe it attaches in a different way to the roadster's. So while the size might be identical, the fittings are different.

I changed mine the other day, just pops off, bought one off eBay - a replica, very good copy. Used a tiny line of araldite to hold back in place. The positioning lugs were not right so had to dremmel those off badge first.

Vroom which one did you go for out of interest, they have the official Z4 roadster ones so potentially I could dremel the fixings on that and glue on. Got a link so I can compare.

Not paying £30 for a badge.
