BMW E89 Z4 Roadster - 2.0i sDrive M Sport - 2012

In today's market I think you would get around 10.5k on a (very) good day. As a private sale with no warranty, in winter. The 5k of extras included 5 years servicing. So the actual options on your car are fairly sparse. It's also a manual which is worth less than an auto. Just after lockdown ended it would have been worth closer to your sales price but since then the convertible market has tanked. Most mid market manufacturers have stopped making 2 seater convertibles and coupes as the demand just isn't there. , SLK/SLC, F type , TT all out of production now. Z4 will bow out next year.Your best option would be to store it in a heated garage on a charger for 5 years as prices of ICE cars will rise if the plans to make UK car dealers sell only EVs in 2030 actually happen.

price including postage. They charged me around £11. https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/lloydcarlislebmwminiparts

You can also get aftermarket versions on eBay for around £12 a pair.

Autos did cost more to buy and spec from the factory, but are not necessarily worth more on the used market. If you study the classifieds, engine for engine, both are now similarly priced. Guessing at autos being more desirable, though there are considerable more manuals for sale in the 2 litre/N20 variant at least.

It’s probably under the seat

It’s a lovely car and the low mileage would appeal for some.
As others have said it may be worth starting a new sales post and re consider the price. GLWS
