BMW E85 upgrades and Mods

Hey guys

I've recently just bought a BMW 2004 e85 2.2i (my first car :) ) and so far I'm delighted !!

Basically I'm looking at upgrading some of the features in it (default radio to XOMAX xm-dtsb914 (or if you can suggest an alternative)) but I'm going to install them all myself as 1) its a hell of a lot cheaper but 2) I really want to learn the full running through and and through of my car.

As well as the radio, I'm looking to install an iphone 5s holder/charger (and hope find a way to install it to the sound system etc so I can have handfree communication etc) (again, I'll be installing them myself). Basically I'm looking for ideas or if any of you have already done it and which holder/charger and also where the best place to hold it would be (open to all ideas)

Also if anybody has any more ideas I'd like to hear them (any other places to learn how to install these things would be good too :) )

The Brodit clip attaches to the zed with damaging any trim and you can get a holder to suit a iphone5:

They are on the upper price range but worth it! I have one :)
