Would be intersting to know what the instructions say about fitting as it's not possible to disassemble the lights without using a separe set to put back together.

If you can provdie with information it may help you sell, on the otherhand it may no though depending on what's involved.

It sounds all so simple........

It's just about possible that a skilled person could take the lights out and dismantle the entire inners piece by piece from the back and then get these to fit between the reflector and the housing. They would be set well back in the light housing but might just be doable.

Wonder where they seller is from. as we don't see many post without the £££ symbol in use.

Edit - $69 new from supplier. Recommends professional installation but includes instructions and photos. OP can you post these on the site then you may well get a sale if fitting is easy.

:!: CJ, did you see they have a picture of your car on their site? Following Peddy's link.

EDIT: Was this the kit you used?

Ever tom dick and harry selling AE's have that picture... I know which picture it is without even looking.

Yes - they had a picture just as peddy says. Half the sites use mine and it's not even what I used.

Mine are different and are true ccfl tubes. a bit like minifluorescents

I would get in touch with them, tell them to stop using your pic as it's not their kit... especially as they have slapped their name across it, with a trademark. Not on!

Frankly I lost interest in even trying to stop them. Ebay removed a few, but they are just arses and start again.

I just feel for individual sucked in believing they can just buy these bits of cr*p and drop them in a treat. Doubt op will get many buyers now :)

Here's one to show it's mine:

ive got a set of these ive been playing with in an old headlight, you wont be able to dismantle the inner to get these in, its a proper chop open job. they do look good when lit though, ive gone off the butcher job and im sourcing a 2nd set of headlights to go down the route cj did.

the instructions say to put the headlights in the oven so you can separate them which we know doesnt work. instructions i had in the box looked more like a honda, not specifically for an e85.

the ones i picked up off ebay are 7000k and look nice and white, match the led plate lights i have & a test hid kit i borrowed from a friend.

hey guys here the instriction on how to install the kit, im not really sure how all the components fit togeather as ive not had the chance myself to do it in the 1st place. and yes the product was originally brought from car gym in HK so it is legit and fitbable. heres is the instructions IMG_0144.jpg

and im a UK resisdent as well :) hope this help.

From what I can see is they are applying heat to seperate the lens from the back, this will not work unlike a E46 3 series for example.

Also if it was this simple surely they would have fitted to a car and have their own pictures and not needed to nick somebody elses.

PS not having a go at you.

Shame as those instructions (from what I can see on the shots) as srhutch says look like they are indicating to melt the adhesive. I can assure you that I've had strip of the adhesive on the bench and it can't be melted. On my E53 X5 I reckon they can be melted in 5 minutes that way so the idea is good, but not on the Z4 (or later year X5 lights)

I'm pretty sure those installation instructions are for a Mazda 3. Recognise them from:
