BMW E85 2004 3,0

Hi

I am new on this forum and all the way from Cape Town, South Africa. Just purchased a 2004 BMW Z4 with only 52000 kms on the clock. It is in very good condition and looks great with the hard top.

What do you guys think?

This would set you back 8000 pounds, a brand new z4 will cost you 30000 pounds.

I am really happy with the car, it's really powerful and would like to keep it as standard as possible.

I do like merlot red, looks like you found a great example there and factoring in the hardtop and very low mileage it's not much difference to UK prices

I have creases in the leather and it looks stretched. Is there any product I could use or do I need to replace the leather to make it tightly wrapped?

One member pawn sacrifice dyed his leather and shrank it tight with a heat gun- search his posts and you will find a video of how he did it- could be and option.

I think heatgun/hairdrier is the answer to saggy seats, but I would do some more research before attacking it.

Nice Car! E85 Z4s are pretty rare in the Cape compared to the E89 in my experience. My Girlfriends Parents neighbours have a immaculate 2.2i in Paarl but you don't see many around. Always wish I had mine down there when we visit and drive about in the Figo.

Light coloured leather shouldn't burn your butt so badly as black with the weather!
