Lol at some of the comments!

"I drive a BMW and totally agree with this. I get fed up with peasants pottering about. I mean how long does it take just to move over and let us past. We will be out of eye sight in a few seconds until i run up behind the next sunday driver!!!

"As a former BMW driver myself, I would say that BMW drivers get impatient with other drivers because BMW cars are made to be driven fast and other cars seem staid and stodgy by comparison and sort of get in the way. These cars are so well engineered, quiet and silky smooth, that when you're dong 45 m.p.h., it feels like you're only doing 30. So the drivers of other cars doing 30 or so will seem to be just crawling along. Of course there is something, too, in the nature of the sort of person who buys a fast car. I admit that I can be short-tempered at times, thought not on the road I hasten to add.

Have to agree with these ones though :P

A couple of Saturday's ago I was driving home back down the M8 motorway quite late in the evening and Kylie's new song came on the radio "Get outta my way"... :D I thought this seemed quite appropriate as I was keen to get home.

Rude drivers my a**... try Los Angeles if you want rude..

I was going into an exit ramp on I-5 in NW LA and I must have scared the devil out of the other drivers because I turned on my signal light, I'm sure thay didn't know what it was ! As I got half way into the off ramp I saw a flash in my side mirror and just swerved back in time to get out of the way as some twat cut me off doing about 90mph. ( I was doing 65 at the time). Now I had to do 90 degree turn to get into the offramp, thankfully no more came through as I did this.
I'd like to get my hands on the driver of the f*ing 3 series BMW that cut me off like that. 8000 km's on the road trip in my e89 and the only ass***le in the whole trip was driving a 3 Series BMW.

that's 'cos BMW's are mostly driven by arrogant 20-30something testosterone-fueled c*Cks, who should all be on the Apprentice surrounded by similar company, so that Lord Sugar can tear a strip off them for their total lack of common sense matched only by their inordinate amount of 'who has the biggest penis extension, costing the most, and which Ferrari/Porsche should I be thinking of next?' attitude.

They should grow out of it eventually and allow BMW drivers to be seen as people who appreciate fine design and engineering, sadly they will be replaced by the next lot

The Survey is like a league table of tw*ts that I would expect to behave in this way. :fuelfire:

Oh how I laughed ha ha ha ha ha

Just going to put my beemer in the garage now. :poke:

There's a lot of boring, incapable Tw*ts on the road today - so I'm not at all surprised at the article.

Why, after sitting behind one of these morons at 25mph for miles, when you eventually overtake they stick their lights on main beam in your mirror?????

I have to say THAT makes me sorely tempted to Road Rage more than almost anything :headbang:

There are some drivers out there that go out of there way to be rude to you if you are driving a BMW... :x

I was testing a 330 Touring the other day and a (fat) lady (in an MPV) pulled up next to me and shouted "Don't Your Bloody Indicators Work"?
I just shouted back "I'm in a BMW so I don't need them".
She wasn't impressed...

For the record, I was using them so don't really know what she was on about

Yup, experience that quite alot.

Due to the reputation BMW drivers have and expectations of other road users I actually go out of my way sometimes to do exactly the opposite of what they expect me to do, Sometimes the look on their faces is priceless.

Last winter I was for once a passenger in my own Z as wife was driving me to drop me off, We were having strong gales at the time and as we turned a corner with a 5 series trying to gain entry into the boot of the zed we had to stop as a wheelie bin was blocking our side of the road, As I got out to move it the Fa*ny in the 5 series decided to let me know how loud his horn was, His face was also priceless as I dragged the wheelie bin from the front of my car and placed it firmly infront of his. his embarresed jokey apologetic smiley laugh gained him the bonus prize of a middle finger

I'd have been tempted to shout back "Don't your bloody eyes work?"

LOL, love that comment. I will use that, or something along them lines when the next hairdresser car jibes arise  :poke: :D

hahaha the comments are brilliant.

I've had people purposely block me in when i am in my Z, and i not give me way.. the same cannot be said when i am in a Mondeo.... which in turns makes me drive more agressive when i am in my Z... so i totally agree BMW drivers are the rudest

Absolutely hilarious thread.

Personally I have found BMW drivers to be absolutely fine, the only negative encounter I've ever had was with captain tw@t in an ancient 3 series tailgating me in a 30 zone with speed cameras galore, naturally I pulled over to let him speed past and get flashed.
