I would definitely say it will be a similar story in the M3 as it was in the M5. Although i would be surprised if it was a V6 more likely a straight six. Like the 1M it will probably be a variation of the newer 3.0 twin turbo. Forced induction, I love the NA BMW engines but still would love to have a go in the new m5 with BMWs forced induction mastery. Turbos are one way of increasing the output of the engine so they can use smaller cleaner engines so we arnt paying so much for tax which would be awesome for everyone, the fact the 335 is only £260 is amazing for its performance. I am generally excited about the new forced induction engines. I know die hard fans will be massively disappointed to move away from NA but times change and direction changes too! Similar to Porsche with water and air cooling, sometimes change is necessary and in this case i would have to agree.
