Ok, so I haven't shown any interest, but it seems lately that when I say Yes, I will be there, something always come up, so I am saying that we hope to attend the Saturday C & C and this is actually the first I am hearing about the Thousand Oaks drive. Hmmmm.....

I'm sure glad someone is watchimg me. When I sent the first e-mail they were still coming up with a date for a drive. I guess this will blow my one time notice of an even :oops: t.

I guess that I could just send the notice of the drive and stay true to my word. :roll:

Stand by I feel an e-mail blitz coming.

BTW Chuck, This is what you were tring to tell me the other day. Sometimes I can be sooo thick. Switch turned on now. :headbang:
 
well, though another group initiated the drive, grab the bull by the horns :evil: and just assume it's a simultaneous event with two groups. Go ahead and plan it ...

On a related note, well, related to Z4s, I am no longer the (co)owner of two z4s! :(

My wife wanted to trade in her Z4 and her mommy van :?

We replaced both with a nice dealer demo 07 530i :D Got a fair deal I believe from Century West! Even negotiated a free pair of chrome tips for my Z4.

Well, just shows we have BMW in our blood! :driving: Damn, they make nice cars. :roll:
 
I'm pretty sure that we'll be there Saturday. Are we planning on meeting before and caravaning in? Or are we just meeting at the C&C?
 
With everyone coming from all directions,I sugest we meet in the parking lot across the street from the enterance to the Ford building at 6:30. The featured parking lot will open to first come first serve parking at 6:45. I will head in at that time. Generally there are spots available when people do not show up on time.

They do have cofee and dounuts for sale at the lot. I will bring my own! I am not aware of restrooms on site. So plan ahead!

Congrats on the trade. Mommy vans :roll: I'm glad my kids are grown. I'm not giving up our Z till it has more miles on it than CoolZ4's. :P :poke:

I'm told that there will be 14 Z8's in attendance.
 
Great I'll see you all there! I have a feeling it is going to be packed by 7AM. I recall it was like that when they had BMW day for C&C in Nov '06. Cars all over the places.. Might be kind of hectic. I might not park in the featured area since I got to take off by 8AM.

There is a group coming north that will pick up a group of cars at Vineland and the 101 in the lot at Ralphs then continue to VCR.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

Now I need to get pics resized and uploaded and then posted.

Have some coffee and a chat and then travel the canyons to PCH.

Most of the group will be heading to Malibu for a brunch( place TBD.)

When we get to PCH,,I will be heading north from there headed to Santa Barbara.
 
Bob,

I talked to a friend that was in the Malibu canyons today.. He said it was pretty good expect there is a lot of debris in the road. Some big rocks and patches of dirt or water. Most likely got loosened up from the rains. For those that are going to be in the canyons be careful out there.
 
What a weekend :!: Staurday at the Irvine cars and coffee BMW was the feature marquis. Talk about a crap load of cars. Highly modified and shinned within an inch of sunshine.

The feature lot was full and we ended up parking all over the place, so not all Z4's got to park together.
