So many cars, tv crews, events with dancing models showing off merchandise, the biggest BMW/Mini shop you will ever see! They had the M3 moto gp pace car flying around the area where you would pic up your BMW.
Then the museum... just epic. Only disappointment was the lack of M cars!! They only had a Z3M roadster, M3 CSL, E30 M3 Evo, E28 M5, M1 and M635 CSI. Not one Z4 or Z4M latest car was an E46 330, but they did have the new 650 coupe and convertible.
Was epic non the less.

Rubes organised the trip, shes does like her motors and traveling.
Ye its much bigger than it was, now there is the Welt the museum and a new cone shaped building that there was a coupe and convert display at the time with all the R&D cars at the bottom like the car with the material skin, hydrogen land speed record car etc
Was a great day just too much to see, lack of M cars and Z4 were pretty surprising to me. Seems apart from the new 6 series it stopped at the E46. Still a great visit.
There was much more going on at BMW Welt, but the Porsche museum was incredible as Porsche have made no where near as many models as BMW there were a lot of rare cars, race cars etc Was a brilliant few days, only the second time ive been to Germany first time was the black forrest. But the German people were really lovely really not intimidating and they encouraged us to use the language then helped instead of resorting to english. Although rubes speaks pretty fluent German so did really well but I haven't spoke the language for 10 years but had a good crash course lol

That's often true in Paris, but not elsewhere. I generally find that the French are happy to speak French or English and in most cases have a better grasp of English grammar than many native speakers. I've also found the French to be much more accommodating than the Germans, but since my girlfriend's French perhaps I'm a little biased
