HI all,

Shaan, a regular on this forum in his E85 days (he replaced it with an M3 convertible), popped round to code my Z4 :)

Dvd in motion now activated amongst other things saving me hundreds.

Hit him up! I'm sure he'd be more than delighted to code other members cars also at a fraction of the cost.

There's a good DIY for coding DVD in motion on E90post. All you need is NCSExpert.

Since coding it I've never use it, but it was fun :D

Much better to do it yourself as the changes will be wiped if the dealer ever does a full module update on the car. My changes have been wiped twice at BMW since owning the car, just takes 30min to re-download to the modules rather than the hassle of arranging someone to come to my house.

I'm sure he'd be happy to travel.......eh maybe not.

I've got my own kit to do this, however dvd in motion is useless as you really want to have your eyes on the road. Much more beneficial things can be done imo. Plus as per R.E92 when it gets a software update I can just reprogram it.

As for Shaan, I've seen him over the past couple of days having a bit of a 'spirited' blast in the new town area of the city.
