Very brief until I get back from 5 days in Scotland...
I took the Z on the TD at Cadwell yesterday.
We were blessed with amazing weather. 20c. My teenage daughter drove it for the first time...that is both the car and the a track. So she went from an 85hp Mazda 2 to a 265 hp Z4 coupe after an 8 mth break from any driving at all :?
She did really well, kept it on the blackstuff etc. she had a half hrs instruction from an ARDs instructor and learnt a load. ( he did state he wished all his trainees were like young ladies, ("they listen"!))
There were few cars out and about on track most of the day with only 60 booked on in any case. Driving standards were high with very few red flags.
For anyone toying with the idea of seeing what their car can do in safe controlled conditions, get yourself booked on a trackday. They really are awesome days.
