BMW CC Track Day, Cadwell. 7th May

Very brief until I get back from 5 days in Scotland... :D
I took the Z on the TD at Cadwell yesterday.
We were blessed with amazing weather. 20c. My teenage daughter drove it for the first time...that is both the car and the a track. So she went from an 85hp Mazda 2 to a 265 hp Z4 coupe after an 8 mth break from any driving at all :?
She did really well, kept it on the blackstuff etc. she had a half hrs instruction from an ARDs instructor and learnt a load. ( he did state he wished all his trainees were like young ladies, ("they listen"!))
There were few cars out and about on track most of the day with only 60 booked on in any case. Driving standards were high with very few red flags.
For anyone toying with the idea of seeing what their car can do in safe controlled conditions, get yourself booked on a trackday. They really are awesome days.

It was a really good day, weather fantastic I'm burnt this morning.
One of the red flags was me, ran out of petrol
I was well embarrased

Ah. I should have twigged and come and said hello. Yours was going really well yesterday it seemed to spend more time out than in!

Loved it, plenty of M3 and Porsche owners to knock down a peg or two :driving:
The guy driving the Mini was a pretty good driver.

I wondered what happened to you, thought you hit the wall!
Very impressed with your speed.

It was my first one with BMW CC, hopefully I'll get to know a few more people as I do a few more.
