Anyone here a member?

Just wondering what the pro's and con's of joining up were? Anyone made good use of any discounts/deals they have?

I tend to be very wary of car clubs these days as internal squabbles, rivalry and politics can sometimes tarnish my escapism via my love of all things petrol.

The forum seems to be from the 1980's.

Seems to be mostly for old stuff, I imagine it to be very political and one sided (BMW is great).

I've been a member for a little while, though far from the most active - as and when I get time. Can't say I've noticed any hint of politics or squabbles but all the people I've met seem very nice. I've not had need to use any discounts but there's a chap from BMW Canterbury who does what he can I think.

I've only seen one other Z4 so far. Nothing to stop you coming along and decide for yourself.

If you're interested in BMWs per se, the monthly mag is worth the subscription imo.
