BMW Car Club GB - Z4 Register

Morning,
I'm not sure how many Z4-Forum members are members of the BMW Car Club but just a little heads up... As an active member I've now captained the Z4 Register :D and so if any of you wish to get involved or wish to share your Z stories/memories I'm on hand... Aside main articles, I have a monthly slot in the Register section of Straight Six so it would be great to inject Z4 owner stories and photos.

Also, Inky$, your Breadvan may come in handy for an article I have planned if you are interested in getting her featured...

Thank you :thumbsup: - I'm on the team for my region (London/Herts) so looking forward to working on both :) - the CC is great and a fine opportunity to meet fellow enthusiasts so I recommend owners getting in on the action! I'll also be aiding Straight Six from time to time so look out for my articles and I hope you enjoy them!
 
I am skint at the moment and have the matter of a donation i said i would make to this lovely forum before i join. But i will join on pay day!! This month has sucked my slush fund dry a holiday stag do and all the little bits to do my car have added up to quite a big number :-(
 
The BMWCC is really good. You get a good mag every month, they organise loads of events and you'll meet some really good people too. I've done rolling road days, dealership tours, Silverstone Classic and about to do my first BMWCC track day as well next month (free ARDS instruction, open pit lane etc).

Plus you can use it to get discount off servicing, parts and insurance too. For your £45 it's a steal.
 
The Guv couldn't have put it any better... Are you doing Silverstone this year? I may well be visiting on the Saturday to aid the Club but am currently awaiting to hear.

And well Steven, yes and no! I'm aiming to start out M specific so :P
 
Nina I'm not going to Silverstone this year. I've done it the last two years but decided to have a break this time. I may well go to Gaydon though because I've never attended that.

Definitely. Always happy to help promote the substantial baking load capability of ///Poppy. Let me know.
Keep meaning to join the BMWCC and never seem to get around to it.
 
think I'm going to come along to gaydon this year with my z4 too! looking forward to it actually.
 
incredibly i was going to post a thread today - suggesting that as the function was vacant - that we should try and get someone from the forum to hold this position - so well done for taking on the role i think I saw your car in Straight Six in the region section this/last month.

I do think the Z4 ( in all its guises :poke: ) is not very represented in the clubs publications - something that looks like you are going to change :thumbsup: .

How funny! You did indeed, Inty knabbed 'car of the month' which was nice!

Absolutely, there are big plans for the future so it's all very exciting. Keep a weather eye on Straight Six too as there will be great developments there too :) - I've written a small introduction for the Z register in next months edition so hopefully this shall be the start of a great partnership :thumbsup:
