I went on the BMW Welt factory tour on a visit to Munich a couple of years ago and it was fascinating, a real experience and in addition to the tour you can explore all the models in the BMW range and the history of the brand - brilliant for fans. You can even arrange test drives. They have a nice cafe/restaurant as well. However, just to let you know that the Z4 is manufactured at their Regensburg plant in another part of Bavaria, which also does a tour, if you want to see some Z4s rolling off the production line!
