BMW business sound system

Hi all,

Had an issue with the sound system last week. Jumped into the car for work and turned the sound system on, but no sound! Could toggle between radio etc, but nothing coming out of the speakers. Anyway I jumped back in the car after work and strangely it worked again! I have since noticed though that the sound isnt the same. It seems as though it's certainly mostly coming from the left side.

What do you guys suggest???
 
I am sure someone had a problem with this once before. There is no external amp with the Business system so the speakers all run off the head unit. I'd take it out and check the connector blocks at the back of the unit. Maybe leave it disconnected for a while see if it need to reset something.

Thanks for the reply mate. It's booked in next week with BMW. Making me paranoid now, keep listening to tracks and trying to compare to what is was before. Checked the settings etc, balance is equal, but definitely more sound from the left. Hopefully they find something from the investigations...
