Hi
My Z had BMW Bodycare applied to it before she was delivered to me in December. However I am struggling to find information regarding maintenance of the paintwork and seats....
I understand that using clay will remove the product, so I am thinking of giving her a good wash followed by AG SRP and HD wax. What do you think??
Similarly with regards to the seats I am thinking of using AG leather balm...

AG products will do nicely if you're not fully into detailing. There are better products but its personal choice, for example, i use a combination of meguiars and AMDetailing kit.
 
Why not ask the supplying dealer?

Personally I have no faith in 'Bodycare' products. Regular and good care with quality products is I believe a better option. I use 'Raceglaze' products. Their 55 Wax is expensive but an excellent product.
 
I think the dealer applied "body care" products are right up there with the BMW lifetime lubricants. And if clay can remove it. Then it was nothing more than an expensive dealer applied wax.

+1 If you have tar spots etc then there's a good chance whatever chemicals you use to get rid of them will remove the finish, so go for it then refinish with your product of choice. SRP and HD wax on mine today :thumbsup:
