BMW AUC Z4M. Hmmmm!

Hi All,
posted a while ago regarding changing our 2.0 zed for the all singing and dancing Z4M roadster.

Bmw AUC 56 registered in Ruby Black.

Now collected and a superb drive as expected, looking forward to a great summer with her but a few niggles are stopping us enjoying the car ...............
A lazy roof motor is the major hardware issue amongst a few small faults that are booked in to be resolved under the auc warranty.

However, to the main issue,
After agreeing to take our a few scratches and swirls the suppling garage had the car mopped and as a "sales incentive" offered to apply the BMW seal and protect system which they did.

In reality an incompetent waved a rotary polisher over the whole car not actually correcting anything but instead introducing buff marks and holograms over almost every panel before sealing it in with the above treatment. Incidentally the same team gave the carpets a similar treatment - leaving leaves under the mats!

On collection in the garage the car looked reasonable but not stunning - would have rejected it otherwise. It's only in the sunlight that the main horrors are visible!

Sorry to rant on in such an early post, just wondering what some of you chaps would do?
Car is booked in thurs week for warranty work but having taken her out tonight think I will call the franchise tomorrow for an earlier solution.

Will get some pictures up soon so you can see the full effect.
All the best,
D and J.

Sorry to hear this. Take it back to them and insist they put it right.

I'd call them tomorrow and explain and tell them you want it put right when it's in next week.

Shame about the holograms. Black is so difficult to keep swirl free :(

Hope it's all sorted soon.

Slight bone to pic :poke: ......

Agreed, can normally keep a car looking good myself but dealer inflicted marks with hard sealant on top? :headbang:

Will get some pic's up hopefully tomorrow.
All the best.

Had the same, didn't trust the dealer to sort it so ended up using a pro detailer and he made a great job of it.
