BMW AUC - BMWFSH?

Hi should I expect a BMW AUC to have a full service history with BMW dealers as opposed to some services done by independents?

No, although most will.
One is a Full BMWSH and the other is simply a car sold under their AUC programme. You might not even find a full service history at all, but some where they have missed the due date by several months.

If I remember correctly it isnt mandatory that the initial services are carried out by a franchised dealer, any approved garage can do it.

It is mandatory for the secondary used car warranty though that BMW offer.

Certainly manufacturers can no longer insist on servicing cars, merely that they are serviced to approved standard.
Not sure about the tems of insurance backed warranties, which iirc BMW is??

Will ask the question of the supplying dealer tomorrow, I just bought a Z4 on the AUC scheme and noticed that the first few services were done by BMW Chesterfield but the last one was done by an indy in Sheffield

As long as they are to schedule that is all fine, however BMW warranty (Not sure about AUC warranty) require the car to be serviced by BMW from now on.

The AUC car I'm looking at has FSH but not full BMW, the last service done at an independent was even incorrectly entered in the service book (6000 miles over the cars then current mileage and 2000 over its now current mileage).

I thought it was extremely fishy, they have an "email" from the indi stating it was written incorrectly and a print out from the service with the correct mileage but still.. worrying.
