BMW 6 CD changer 'A'

Free for collection. Spares or repair only. It has power but the CD magazine won't eject. I don't know if it otherwise works, as the head unit in my car is not compatible. Came out of a 2001 Z3 but I presume it will fit anything with a compatible control unit. Comes with a mounting bracket with three mounting bolts. Also comes with 6 mystery CDs (as can't get them out at present).

Seems a shame to bin it as am sure someone who know about these type of thing could get it working easily.

In centre of Spalding, Lincs.

I have no idea. They ain't mine and I can't get the bloody things out. :D

But if no-one wants it then I will get the CDs out (with the help of a persuader) and we could do that!
 
If it is the same as the z4 one then just unscrew the top cover and you can push the cd back in to the cartridge

Pretty sure it's a re-badged Sony. I have had it apart but not going to spend time on it....other things to do! :lol:
 
I have a 6 CD changer in the X3. There is a European map disc in it. Does it need to remain there
for the sat nav to work ? Never had one of multi media things before.

That does not go in there, that goes in the single slot dvd player
