BMW 330i Strut assembly on Z4?

Hello my friends,

I hope you don't get too mad at me!
I have a Z4 with the sport suspension, RFT and 18" wheels. I brace for impact at the slightest pavement irregularity, this combo is HARSH. Not wanting to get rid of the tires (that are in great shape) or the wheels (that look awesome), I wonder if the BMW 330i strut assemby is compatible and could be used for a slightly higher ground clearance and a bit more comfortable ride. Stupid idea or...? I'm not a fan of aftermarket parts, so that came to mind.

My thinking would be that the 330i suspension is set up for a heavier vehicle than the z4 therefore making it worse if they fit

Does seem a lot of effort when in all likelihood the main issue is those run flat tyres.
