EDIT: Have now been messed around by the car buying company who've revised their offer downward as it's a new month :x I don't have the patience to go through it all again plus with their fees it's now a piss-take.

So, with that in mind I've decided to sell privately. I'd still take £7,300 as it stands or alternatively I'll have the potential injector issue fixed (just in case it does end up going), plus I'll get the car machine polished and valeted but I'll be putting the car out on the usual channels for £7,750 (realistically expecting £7,650 ish). Car booked in for injector on Wednesday.

ORIGINAL INFO BELOW:
• Registered July 2009
• 1 previous owner
• 58,108 miles (will rise slightly)
• Blue Metallic
• Auto
• Petrol
• Factory fitted privacy glass to rear
• Full cream leather interior with black gloss trim
• Full BMW service history with last oil service done by my local BMW indie
• MOT until Jan 2016
• 4 x Goodyear Eagles all round (fronts worn more on outer edges as noted on MOT advisory)
• Bluetooth
• Heated seats
• Cruise
• Rear parking sensors
• Dual zone air-con
• Start/Stop button ignition
• BMW Professional Radio / CD / MP3 / Auxiliary Input
• Both keys, all books / folders and a pile of paperwork!
• Fully HPI clear

Points to note (current condition- before any work being done):
• 3 alloys have very minor curbing to the outer edge
• Would benefit from a machine polish as some scratches are visible (the dealers have said there's nothing that won't polish out)
• Small stone chip on bonnet that previous owner touched up (only noticeable close up)
• Occasional engine management light for a few seconds when starting from cold (runs fine after that) - possibly injector issue (common fault) - around £250 inc labour when we've had them looked at before
• One other MOT advisory - play in NSR arm inner bush

The car has been well looked after throughout our ownership and the points above are my open and honest assessment of the car as it stands.

Some very quickly taken photos below (apologies in advance that it hasn't been cleaned!)

Hhhhhmmmm , been looking at these or A4 Avants for the last few weeks for mrs w's current X3 (although i was planning to switch come Oct/Nov when demand rises for 4x4s  )
Got me pondering now 8) Heated seats & bluetooth prep ?

Ponder away Mr Wilks! I seem to remember your X3 was also blue/cream leather - petrol I think? I could 'potentially' be in the market for something along the lines of an X3 as our part-time car. Now you've got me thinking..!

Feel free to PM some details if you're looking to change - I'm certainly open to a possible swap plus cash if the price is right.

Eeerrrr no the blue with cream X3 i sold for a A6 Avant which i then sold to buy another X3
This one is Sport spec 3.0i auto silver grey with black heated leather .

Hi Mr Nic, I'm very interested in the Beemer. Whereabouts are you based?

I need to replace my 2004 Lexus RX300 with a newer family fun bus that can also be an economical mileage muncher and this may well do the trick.

I'm out of the country until mid next week, is this too late for the sale ?

Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim, it's certainly economical and definitely a great family car. I'm picking up the Mrs new car on Monday so can really only hold off until Wednesday at the latest - sorry!

I've added this info to the first post plus added a few other features to the car that I'd originally forgotten.
