Bmw 320d PCV? Line Under Stress

Afternoon all,

Do folks know if either of the hoses in picture below needs to be removed when changing a temperature sensor on an N47 engine? The top hose currently loops underneath the bigger one is stressing them both and the plastic hose/cable holder above the engine has snapped because of it. My Indy replaced the temperature sensor when I got an error code and wondering if they've removed this cable/hose then put back wrong. They were investigating a high temperature message on the dash so wondering if this has been u clipped down the back of the engine then reshipped incorrectly below the pcv line.

Any help is muchos appreciated .

Photo of my sons 118d N47 from a couple of years back. Don't know if it looks any different to yours but the hoses should definitely NOT be stressed such that the plastic holder has snapped ! I agree with your suspicion that it hasn't been reassembled correctly  20210102_151926.jpg

Took some photos of my F31 320D with the N47T engine, but the covers/pipes are different, so not much use.

Not mine, as I didn't take any wide shots, but this is identical to mine...

I don't know if it helps but I'll add a photo of the N47 in my 123d. As you can tell I didn't have a fastidious under-bonnet cleaning regime.

Thanks for the responses chaps. I've managed to get a shot of the pipes in question...

You can see the two lines the wrong way round. I've no idea what the line in the tray does and it looks like it goes down to a plug but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what this is for? I'm concerned for the pcv(?) line as I don't want that to split.

You can also see where the clip on the topside of the tray has snapped off. So much for a local Indy specialist!
