Prob not the best place to ask this being a Z4 forum but chances are someone has an E90. I had my heart set on a Z4M as I loved my Z4 3L so much but i've started looking at the E90 initially just because I liked the look of it. Then checked out the fuel economy figures and was pretty impressed.
In particular I really like the Autovouge edition:

However, a big issue for me is weather the stereo is any good!!! From what i've read it's serious work to replace a head unit on one of these because its so tightly integrated into the other systems - park distance control fort example.
I've had a 05 3 series and would describe the stereo as crap - even on a good day, no depth, no bass sounds like a tin can. So im asking if anyone has any first hand experience of the new one? Has it been improved? I want something on par with the Caver/DSP system that I had on my Z4 - that was fantastic.
If it's no better then I will just buy the Z4M and love every crazed moment of it!
