Strong price considering they need a refurb (split rims are expensive to get done IIRC) and two need new tyres very soon IMO.
Good luck, though.

The reason I put them on at that price was that the only thing I had to go on was the only two adverts on 'that' auction site, where for single wheels, it was £295 each, anyway, they are taking space up in my garage so need to go that's why I'm reducing the price to £450 collection from Burnley Lancs

Hi
Done a bit of research on the refurb and it’s not going to be cheap if you can get anyone to actually touch them
Looking at £150 per wheel ! I am beginning to think that £300 is too much now tbh

I don't understand why in the UK repairers make such a fuss over these wheels. I have these on my E89 and have had them done here twice once just the outer lip which cost me 50€ each and then again recently the entire wheel in candy red and black for 100€ each, none of the workshops I approached told me that they can't do them.

They basically inflate the price just in case of any issues removing the bolts , they can snap off due the oxidation on the threads caused by age and Uk weather. This is a nightmare as they are difficult to drill etc and they don’t want the responsibility .
Plus the extra time it takes to get 80 bolts out and then rebuilding them is a factor , most just don’t want the aggro just drive in and out jobs .
Strip them yourself and take them in for refurbishment no probs

I use diamond rims in Blackburn i think ill have a word cos i really like the black and red ones gloss Black and Blue would look nice i'm having second thoughts now

That's the beauty of these split rims, you can do some interesting combos. On your blue Z4 polished outer lip and gloss gumental grey centres would be another option. People pay thousands to get forged split rims and have them in custom colours, yet we have these for next to nothing, ok they are not forged but still..... Here's another snap of mine just to wet the appetite

My car is a UK car, spent the first 10 years of it's life in the UK. I first had the wheels done the same month I brought the car over to Spain. But yes I get why they might be a bit cautious, perhaps best as you say strip them yourselves and drop them off.

Evening Mr Brick
surprised i haven't spotted this car around 8) whereabout the town are you ? I'm in Ightenhill & if i hadn't split over 30 sets of Bmw split rims in my Z owning days would have made you a offer

Jmo but anywhere between £200 + £300 would be a fair sum to me when you break down the costs :(

tyres off £20 ?
get the wheels apart ( not always as easy as some make out which is where the element of risk for the buyer lies )
refurb ( anywhere from £160 a set to £500 )
bolt back together ( not a 10min job )
tyres on with balance £40 ?
cost of tyres to have a matching set ?

Nice looking wheels though & do suit E85 E86 .

Hiya Silverster your e89 looks really well having second thoughts about selling now I thought about doing them in two different shades when i bought it but always wanted csl style wheels going in garage after see if all the bolts will come undone
