For sale, 2006 2.5L z4 SE One of Bmw’s last naturally aspirated engined cars(n52).

the car is extremely clean! Especially for the age. The paint is stunning, there a few stone chips and marks as to be expected on a car of this age. Body work / interior / underneath do not show its age at all and are all in fantastic condition. (I have many more photos but not all will upload due to file size)

Engine and gearbox are very smooth and quiet, has just had a recent service and has a full service history. Also have a stack of receipts for work carried out.

Roof motor has been replaced and relocated to the boot and works

You’ll need to see this car in person to appreciate it, I will also have a set of front tyres installed for the full price for the new owner to enjoy for the rest of summer.

You said in the title it's immaculate. Then said it's not.
So it's not then?

From the internet: The word immaculate means perfectly clean, neat, or tidy. It also describes something completely free from flaws, mistakes, or moral sin.

It is…….. it’s a 20 year old car I’m being as transparent as possible. of course there’s going to be stone chips and a few marks. Other than that it is immaculate. If you’re not interested I suggest you scroll on

Seems to be the 2.5i (177bhp), not the 2.5si (218bhp)? Were you aware of the differences, as this seems to be priced at the top end of the SI range.
If you have advertised it elsewhere I would suggest you make the engine spec obvious as I’m sure you have no intentions to fool anyone.

The ad states it’s the SE. For its condition and its history it’s priced very well. A lot of these including some I’ve seen on the forum are nowhere near the level of how this example has been cared for

SE is trim/suspension level.
Difference between 'i' and 'si' is the inlet manifold, disa valves and DME software.
I'm not getting drawn into another argument, but I would suggest that to realise that price you are going to need to advertise it to a less discerning audience.

So you sign up just to sell your "not immaculate" car. Post on other threads trying to shamelessly flog it (BTW one of the threads was specifically afer an E85MR, so you are way off) and then tell me to feck off.

This forum doesn't work like that.

I’ll add the I, as I missed that. Agreed it’s not quite as sort after. However, there’s some seriously questionable cars that are for sale. This is one of the cleanest examples, when I bought I was looking for condition not spec as I’m sure another buyer will be.

Looks like a tidy example and appreciate you have included a contact number for any interested enquiries but can I suggest you update the initial listing to include the following:

How long you've owned it
Mileage
Condition / age of tyres
Detailed service intervals
Any non-standard service items

Spat my tea out laughing at this.

Is it too difficult to say hi in the new members section considering the free advertising?

Last change of owner 2015, so 11 years or bought to flip??

My car was also a 2.5i SE, very similar spec and mileage, very clean, and I paid considerably less than your ask.
TBH I think you’ll need to sharpen your price a lot to get this sold.

Decent-ish condition, seats look good for age.

If you want some reasons from the pictures why it's not immaculate though… (mostly because you've fucked me off with the price being more on forum. Plus all the above.)

Looks like there's a scrape on the right side in front of the wheel, and possibly a knock/crease under the right headlight that's more than a stone chip. Left side front bumper is even worse, scrape under the headlight and front lip has at least one gouge out of it. Aerial is missing in some of the pictures, and not fully screwed in for the rest. Interior trim has a mark under the driver's elbow by handbrake (annoying in the aluminium!)

Mileage on the MOT history is slightly worrying too, looks like it was used/maintained up until 2020, then has done 1-2k a year and not had easy things addressed between years. Not a good sign for something you allude to being well maintained/"extremely clean".

Not sure you could achieve asking for a 3.0si in that condition, let alone a 2.5i. It does have heated seats at least. Very good luck with sale at that price.

Decent-ish condition,
Ok. It probably is. Don't have an issue with that.
But when the word IMMACULATE is used in the title followed by........
The paint is stunning, there a few stone chips and marks as to be expected on a car of this age.
You can't have "immaculate for it's age", that's nonsense.

To me an immaculate car is one that is as new, because the word means 'flawless'. I don't think there is a 20 year old car on the road that is immaculate. So the word shouldn't be used as it's misleading.

To jump on the band-wagon: Well-worn standard seats are not really sought-after, especially manual ones. No steering wheel controls. No Sat Nav.
So as the lower output 2.5i with not much more than poverty spec interior, I think that first '5' should be a '3'.
