BMW: 100 year anniversary in 2016

As 2016 is a big year for BMW (and 10 years for the Z4M of course :wink: ) just wondering what events are planned? Hoping that BMW will get behind something special, like Porsche did with the 911:50. Looks like Zedfest is a big one of course, but what else is taking place? :)
 
Hope they do something good for Silverstone Classic!
Wouldn't know which car to bring......sod it, I'd take both!
 
I know that BMWCC are arranging a parking area at the Santa Pod show on 19th June for the 100yr. anniversary! That's one event they
have announced.

I have booked already with the Zroadsters Alan and would be happy to arrange for you and anyone else to join the group.
Its always a mix of Z4s and Z3s with usually just the one Alpina roadster there, :oops:
Room booked for the Saturday night too at the Premiere Inn in the centre of Northampton for B&B at a very reasonable rate, go on book up!
 
BMW has not got an official support at Silverstone this year it has swapped to Goodwood (read this on BMW carclub forum).The BMW carclub however is organising a round Britain relay involving the regions doing a trip and handing over the baton to the next region and so on with the aim to complete at the Gaydon National Festival in Aug.

That is also on the cards apparently they are arranging a line up of 1000 vehicles they have produced.
