I'm really hoping so but I'm thinking the opposite really...that it could be a huge let down.
For starters (according to the motoring press) its going to be sharing an engine with a non-M car (S Drive 35is), its also going to be a turbo and unless they work miracles it just won't sound like an M. Lastly I don't think it will have enough extra power over a 135i. Minimum IMO should be 375BHP, which should keep it below the E92 M3 performance wise.
Here's hoping i'm wrong though and it turns out to be a classic.
