I know these guys have been recommended before on here, but I want to add my recommnedation to that

Ordered yesterday afternoon. Delivered this morning. Installed by lunchtime. Airbag fault cleared after about 30 minutes of using DIS. So it has paid for itself already. This was using a fairly crappy netbook I happened to have and it all worked fine. Very pleased

I actually found a ton of faults - all of which it said were no longer present so I just cleared them all. Will monitor periodically.

Now I can play a bit to see what features I can add......

I have been looking at this myself but last time someone played with my car on a laptop it ended up completely buggered up so I am worried about doing anything to it myself.
I have the airbag light on which was recently cleared for MOT by an indy (after having a seat occupancy bypass fitted) but came back on 2 days later and I don't want to have to keep forking out to have it reset/checked
Is this easy to use for someone with a basic knowledge of computers.

It seemed easy to me but I like to think I am fairly savvy with computers.

The process for installing was very simple - just install one part at a time and follow their on screen instructions. Less than 10 clicks in total I would day - although it took some time on my machine. I bought the USB version rather than downloading as I fancied having the SSS software.

Using the software was pretty straightforward too - exactly as described in the link from their website - http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=59247

Of course my diagnosis came up saying fault no longer existed - and I know I triggered it by jump starting the car - so I was happy to just clear it. I'll let you know if it re-appears though.

That sounds very similar - in fact the installer looks exactly the same (see here http://bmtechnic.co.uk/unique-features-of-our-cables/) and it seems like the same software.

About £15 cheaper too.
