Bluetooths and ipods etc

Another quickie if youd be so kind.. Had a search but couldnt find an answer

I've got (I think) the upgraded hifi in my M, with satnav, the two subs and other 8ish speakers, cd changer etc. It came with a bluetooth code in the delivery nots in the manual, so I guess that I should be able to pickup the car when I turn it on. Options are there in the menu etc but I cant find the car.

But... Nada. Am I doing something wrong?

Also is the Bmw cable going to let me just plug in my ipod and control via the steeringwheel?

Is the bluetooth ourely for calls or can I stream music through it?

Though it a bit strange to not have the bluetooth but pretty much every other option Ive read about, so thinking it could be a numpty user..?

BT is basic in the E85/6

You need to pair the phone the correct way.

Ign = 0, Press pairing button for 3 Sec (centre consle), Ign = 1, Release Button after 3 seconds

With regard to ipod unless you have a Dension/Intravee/Dice/BMW iPod connector you will only get sound through the system if using the AUX port (3.5mm jack)

So with the bmw connector I should have full control etc? With a bit of luck the dealer will have one in stock!
