I have an 05 with premium pkg. It seems strange to me that the set of owners manuals includes a manual for bluetooth operation and a separate document with a pass code. I'm assuming that I don't have bluetooth capability because I've never been able to get a phone to pair.

Anyone else have the manuals but no bluetooth capability?
 
You should have bluetooth if your car has the premium pkg. and the manuals/passkey.

Open the trunk and on the bottom left corner of the bulhead (think of it as behind the drivers seat) the bluetooth ULF is mounted vertically in a cradle. You will see a rectangular bulge in the carpet in the corner. Lift the carpet and if the approx 8" x 4" a 1" silver module is there you have it fitted. If not then out of luck and you got free manuals.
