I just recently went to BMW and asked if theres any phones from my carrier "Verizon" work with and pair with my car. One of the service reps showed me the list of possible phones that would work and theres only like 10 phones that possibly work what the flip. Does anyone know any other phone?
 
They only list the phones that BMW guarantee that will work, most of the main manufacturers phones do work, bluetooth is what it says, there are not versions of bluetooth, only 1!! so any bluetooth phone will pair (although that isnt as easy as it sounds sometimes) the only thing is whether the software will work with the phone, e.g. address book, certain functions etc.

I know when I paired my Nokia (which wasnt listed), it wouldnt have it, and after much swearing, found out when I switched the bluetooth on and off on my phone, it paired instantly!! and all the adrres books etc :thumbsup:
 
I know you're in the U.S. & on Verizon, but here's the list from bmw.ca for Canadian carriers, might help, might not. Go to the very bottom of the page where it says PDF containing....click that link
