Bluetooth???

Thanks for the info, however this the regarding this plug in part:

Torpalasse explains that pluging this into the CD changer port (access via boot) will then act as BT streaming for music.

As much as I would like to tackle that wiring diagram, if that is the input plug on the back of the headhunt - my loop has no slack on it what so ever. Can barely access it.

Hi guys,

So this evening I was able to establish that my Z4 does have BT and sync's to my phone.

Questions:

1. Where does this BT-reciever plug into and what functions can it perform? Calls? Music? Both? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bluetooth-Mu ... 3153228002 . Torpalassee, maybe you can clarify?

I got music. Guess you can get sound from calls aswell, but no mic.

2. If i install an aux cable into the back of the headunit, which both slots are taken up, does this mean I will loose the BT functionality? Probably, pulled it to install aux, which I now dont need after installing the bt reciever.
I dont think i got bt on the stereo, but there where cables to the box between the seats and a nokia phone holder. I cut it all away.
How can i tell the stereo has bt from the befinning? How do i access phone mode?

if you already have BT as you said and wanted to add AUX then this is the info you need. If you are adding yet another BT then that replaces the CD changer but you can still add an AUX should you so wish.

Ok thanks for the info. But adding a physical aux cable requires adjusting wiring, as you posted earlier?

yes, the aux signal goes in on the plug labelled sound-system in the diagram I posted.
