Bluetooth telematics vanished - UPDATE - FIXED!

My 2006 Z4 has (had) bluetooth.
One day, the telephone option from the flip up display did not show up, and subsequently, my phone can't find the z's Bluetooth to pair to.

I have checked all the fuses behind the glove box and they are OK.
I'm wondering if my bluetooth module has failed. - unsure of how to troubleshoot this one, other than to replace the telematics bluetooth communications module.



there are several of these modules avail on line with the matching 232925 23,
but the all have different numbers
Mine states:

BMW EVEREST IBUS US
SW: 37 HW: 50

Being in the US - I am looking en Ebay and see several listed, but
the ones I am finding online have different info, are they all interchangeable if the part number 232925 23 matches?

found a replacement on Ebay, installed it and it now works again, love having BT

Did you have to code it, or was it just plug and play.

I removed the old one, and plugged the new one in its place, turned on the ignition and 'Telephone' showed up on the display again.
I was able to bluetooth sync using the 4 digit code on the new module - back in business!
