Bluetooth TCU / ULF location Z4 Coupe

Hi guys,

I don't have the pairing code for the bluetooth module on my z4 coupe - unfortunately the manual and card are missing :(

I've had a good search but I can't seems to find a definate answer. Everyone seems to know where it is on the convertible, but not on the coupe.

Any ideas?

I found this useful thread which at least shows how to get the carpets out. But not the carpet on the "firewall" - is this where it's located?

My bmw dealer wants to charge £65 for the privilege. Stuff that! If there's a way to do it myself I will most certainly attempt it - worse that could happen is I brake a few 20p carpet clips :)

Thanks

Hi there
- Im in the same boat pal. Just picked mine up and cant find the passkey - not sure where to start looking for the bluetooth module.
Let me know if you manage to sort it.
Cheers

Hey there,

Damn these inconsiderate sellers! Luckily for me I rang Autologic in Hull and they said they'd do it for free. So I popped round there and got the key, they also enabled the beep on lock and one touch indicators! So thumbs up to Autologic :D

But in my search I found out where it is

thanks to th30d0r3 for the pictures:

It's the rectangle box on the left. You need to remove the left carpet in the boot and then the carpet on the boot/cabin seperator - following the guide in the first post.
