Bluetooth phone connection

Hello guys,is there a list of phones compatable with a Z4 Roadster 2004 with SatNav that allows the phonebook to be used and also text message to be seen and read on the Nav screen. Dont really want to get into the realms or prices of iphones as i only use my phone to text and make calls. Sorry if this has been asked before, and as always thanks in advance for your expert help. Did you put your VIN in?

Dont think the software updates allow the txt messages to be read on the sat nav screen anymore, safety issue I believe

cheers guys i did put vin in but said no compatable phones, does anyone know otherwise, when i bought the car it had the previous owners phone book in so assume some phones do at least that.
