Bluetooth kit

For the newly acquired Polo, need to fit a Bluetooth kit. Doing a very quick search seems to imply that Parrot is a good one to go for.

Any opinions?

I have a THB Bury cc9060 in my Jeep and it's great. Some Parrot kits have smartphone compatibility issues when using Iphone, Windows Mobile or Google Android. Be careful.

Excellent point, thanks. My son has an Android so that would defeat the object if it did not work! Do you have any info on which kit to avoid? I was thinking possibly of the CTK3100.

Nope, but if my memory serves me the latest, full colour all signing, all dancing one has the most issues! I think that's why they still make the older one with the mono screen.

Have a look at the Bury kit i have though, i'd say it's better than a Parrot.

I just did - quite a lot more money though (50% or so). Will do a but more research.

PVR I have a LS3200 and i fit the 3100 in our company vehicles which are used by WM5/6 devices standard mobiles, and BB's

The parrot site is good for telling you what equipment is compatiable and if there are any issues in syncing the contatcs list etc.

the 3200 screen is crap though even though its colour, the writing is to small, the 3100 is better IMO

Thanks srhutch, I take it all back what I said about your knees :D

They are slowly getting better, physio reckons swelling has gone down by 10% so a way to go but hopefully it will speed up now, hope so I want to get this kent/sussex meet sorted.

PVR also worth a look on the Parrot forum if you have any specific conderns.

I thought they had a Dutch forum, but remembered your translations are pretty crap anyway so best stick to the english one :poke:

Thanks, you are too kind. Remind me on the next meet to drop something on your knee :poke:

I assume you can get me a 3100 at a "friends" price then? (with friends like you who needs enemies .... )
