Bluetooth conundrum?

Hi all,

I've searched the forums for info on this and still have questions.

Has anyone got a working Bluetooth system without a pairing button on the centre flap??

The reason I ask, part of the documentation I was given from the dealer was an operating manual for Bluetooth and a card with a pass code.
Only I've come to try and connect and there is no telephone option on the nav screen and no pairing button in the centre flap.
It just seems really odd that I have the paperwork??

I read somewhere on another forum that some USA cars would go into pairing mode each time the key was turned to position 1, so didn't have a pairing button? :headbang:

Needless to say I can't find a signal.

Any thoughts?

If you don't have a pairing button, cradle or telephone option on your nav screen I would say you don't have BT.

You could put your VIN into the checker to get the factory spec out.

If you have only just bought and the dealer stated BT then take it back and ask them to get it working.

That's what I thought, wasn't expecting it to be there and it wasn't listed by the dealer as a feature.
It was just the passcode card that had me puzzled.

Least it had an Aux input already fitted so no great loss.

:-)
