Bluetooth connection

New purchase on other thread.
Can’t connect phone following instructions in the book but not successful
Any help please and not go buy a parrot which I may have to do lol

Id start by clearing out the old phones

Turn ignition off.
Press and hold the pairing button in the centre console with the picture of the face, NOT the button on the wheel with the same icon.
After 5 seconds turn on the ignition to the accessory position.
Continue holding the pairing button for a few seconds.
Release the pairing button.
'Bluetooth Pairing' should now be displayed on the radio or Nav screen.

then hold the same button for 10 seconds itll beep to say there cleared. then do the above and find the BMW on phone and add with correct pass key
 
On phone screen just says searching I am doing what you’ve posted ^^ but not exactly.

Yes but searching, when been left for a while says activate phone.
I think it’s a car issue needs a update.
 
Managed to get it to pair just password is the issue tried 1234 0000 but needs to be specific
 
yeah when you got the car there should be a card with it on, its not in the book. Unless someone wrote it in it like they did mine
